45th Annual Ladies Kingfish Tournament

As the first all-women’s fishing tournament in Texas, the Ladies Kingfish Tournament has been a tradition for over 40 years. Anglers compete in bay and offshore divisions, showcasing their skills in one of the most exciting fishing events of the season. Whether you’re casting a line or celebrating the competition, this tournament is a must for fishing enthusiasts! Dates: August 7–9, 2026 Presented by: South Padre Island Chamber of Commerce Friday, August 7, 2026 Location: SPI Convention Center Registration: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM BBQ Dinner: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Friends, Raffle, Vendors & Live Music: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Captain’s Meeting: 6:15 PM Saturday, August 8, 2026 Location: Sea Ranch II at SouthPoint Start Time: 6:30 AM Weigh-In — Bay Division: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Weigh-In — Offshore Division: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Sunday, August 9, 2026 Location: SPI Convention Center Awards Ceremony / Continental Breakfast: 11:00 AM Qualifying Species Offshore Division: Kingfish, Blackfin Tuna, Bonita, Dorado Bay Division: Redfish, Trout, Flounder Grand Champion and 1st–3rd place trophies will be awarded in both divisions. To qualify for Grand Champion, all species in the division being fished must be weighed in. There is no age limit for registration in either division.
