About Starbase Events

Starbase Events answers the questions people ask before they drive out to Boca Chica: whether Starbase is open to the public, whether SpaceX runs tours, when the next Starship flies, whether State Highway 4 and the beach are closed, where to stand to watch, what the weather is doing at the pad, and what else is happening locally that week.

The site is a reference, not a ticket seller and not a news outlet. No tickets are sold here, no tours are operated here, and no reporting is republished here. Articles by other publishers are indexed and linked on Starbase in the News, always to the outlet that did the work.

Starbase Events is independently run and privately owned. It went online in February 2026 and has published continuously since. It has no corporate parent, no newsroom and no connection to SpaceX, the City of Starbase, Cameron County or any government agency.

The site earns money in two ways, both disclosed where they appear: display advertising, and the Starbase Supply store, which sells original designs that are neither official nor licensed SpaceX merchandise. Nobody pays to appear in the event calendar, the flight log, the tour list or the news index.

Every live figure on the site is read from a named primary source by a scheduled job. Nothing is estimated to fill a gap. When a source gives nothing, the page says so rather than showing an older value as if it were current.

The Daily Dispatch is the one exception on the site. It is written each morning by an AI correspondent from that day's launch, weather and event data, in a stated persona voice. It is a summary of the same data shown elsewhere on the site, not reported journalism, and it is labelled as such wherever it appears.

• Every data page names its primary source on the page itself and carries the date the source was last read.
• A launch date is an estimate until the operator confirms it. Dates marked NET slip often, and the page says which ones are firm.
• Nothing here is an official announcement. Confirm a closure, a launch time or an event with the official source before making a trip depend on it.
• Other publishers' articles are indexed and linked, never reproduced. The summary shown for an article is the outlet's own.
• Tour operators are listed because they exist, not because they paid. If a link on this site ever earns a commission, that link is marked where it appears.

An error in a launch time, a closure window or an event listing can send somebody on a four-hour round trip for nothing, so corrections are treated as urgent rather than routine.

Report an error to mitch@brandyourstoryonline.com. Include the page and what is wrong on it. Confirmed errors are fixed as soon as the correct value can be verified against the primary source. When a correction changes a fact a visitor could already have acted on, the change is stated on the page rather than made silently.

When a source itself goes quiet, the affected page shows its last-checked date and says that nothing new has been published. An empty state is always preferred to a stale one presented as current.
