Lower Laguna Madre Young Birders Club: Fall Migration

The Lower Laguna Madre Young Birders Club connects youth ages 9–15 with nature through birding, with a goal of building an environmentally conscious future while having lots of fun. The club offers monthly birding adventures and lessons themed to the birds seen during the different seasons of the year. Binoculars are lent out to participants, and the center’s Naturalist Educator and other local partners in nature lead the tours and lessons. This session focuses on fall migration and shorebirds and takes place Saturday, October 24 from 9:00am to 11:30am at the South Padre Island Birding, Nature Center & Alligator Sanctuary.
